Prabowo Named as Gerindra Chairman for 2020-2025 Period

TEMPO.CO, Bogor - Prabowo Subianto has officially been reappointed as Gerindra Party chairman, and as the board of supervisors head, for the period of 2020-2025. He was officially named at the Gerindra Party Extraordinary Congress.

Gerindra spokesperson, Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, said all party board members accepted the decision of Prabowo reappointment.

"The leader of the meeting Pak (Ahmad) Muzani has officially named Pak Prabowo Subianto as Gerindra Chairman and board of supervisors head," said Gerindra spokesman at Hambalang complex, Bogor, West Java, Saturday, August 8.

Dahnil said Prabowo was ready to return to lead Gerindra Party as all members asked for it. “He said he is ready to take the responsibility,” he said.
