TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta confirmed that the positive cases of COVID-19 in the city reached 19,001 as of Sunday, July 26, 2020, or increased by 378.
The number of people recovered from the novel coronavirus disease also rose by 334 on Sunday, adding the total to 11,886. The fatalities, meanwhile, slightly jumped by four to 772 death tolls.
The city administration has no longer used the term of people under monitoring (PDP) and patients under monitoring (ODP), but rather suspected, probable, traveling patients, close contacts, and discarded cases.
As published on the official page related to the pandemic corona.jakarta.go.id, Jakarta recorded 55,366 suspected cases. Of the figure, 50,149 people have passed the quarantine, 1,434 were still being isolated at their homes, 1,557 were being isolated at hospitals, and 2,226 people died.
The recorded number of probable cases was 313 people with 38 have undergone isolation and 275 died. The number of traveling patients was recorded at 1,928 people; 1,822 of them have completed the isolation, and 106 were being quarantined in their homes.
As for the number of close contacts hit 89,951 people, and 9,666 of them were still being isolated. Meanwhile, the COVID-19 discarded cases in Jakarta reached 5,818 people with one fatality.
