TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Head of the Bogor City Health Agency, Sri Nowo Retno, on Sunday announced that the city’s COVID-19 recovery rate had reached 61.11 percent with 110 recovery cases from a total of 180 confirmed cases.

“The recovery rate from positive cases continues to increase and the current percentage is higher than the positive patients that are in treatment,” said Retno in Bogor on Sunday.

On Thursday, June 25, there are reportedly 11 COVID-19 positive patients that recovered which is the highest the City of Bogor ever handled in one single day which was received with elation by the Health Agency Head.

Further positive trends can be found coming from Bogor as the ‘city of rain’ has also seen dropping numbers on inpatient COVID-19 cases with currently seeing 53 patients and 105 people under monitoring or ODP, which is a reduction of seven cases since Sunday.

The Bogor City administration continues to attempt to break the chain of coronavirus by mobilizing COVID-19 detective squads last week that is tasked to track down and monitor the spread of COVID-19.
