Jakarta Emergency Hospital: 1,936 Recovered from COVID-19

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta's Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital on Monday announced that 61 more people have recovered from COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus. In total, the hospital's number of recovered COVID-19 cases have reached 1,936 people.

"Since March 23, 2020, [Wisma Atlet] has treated 3,965 patients, of which 1,936 recovered or were discharged," Brig. Gen. Suhardi of the TNI's Joint-defense Command for Area I, said in a press conference here today.

As per May 25, Wisma Atlet Emergency COVID-19 Hospital is treating 909 patients who tested positive for the virus. "There are 611 male patients and 322 female patients," Suhardi said.

Wisma Atlet is also treating COVID-19 suspects, of whom 17 are patients under surveillance (PDP) and seven people under monitoring (ODP). Meanwhile, three patients died while in treatment.

So far, the make-up hospital has referred 118 patients to other hospitals.
