Jakarta Covid-19 Update: 562 Cured, 400 Deaths

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The number of Covid-19 patients in Jakarta continues to increase. Based on official data from corona.jakarta.go.id, there are 4,355 Covid-19 patients recorded as of May 2, 2020.

The number is higher compared to 4,283 patients recorded on May 1, 2020. As of May 2, 2020, the number of people recovered from the disease reached 562 people, while the number of fatalities recorded had reached 400 people.

The data also revealed that 1,411 people are still waiting for their test results. Meanwhile, as many as 2,089 patients are still receiving treatment and 1,304 people have conducted self-isolation.

The number of patients under supervision in Jakarta since the beginning of the pandemic had reached 5,064 people, with 997 patients currently remaining under treatment. Meanwhile, the number of people under supervision since the beginning of the pandemic had reached 8,311 people with 217 people remaining under supervision and the rest were allowed to return home.

For the latest national data, as many as 10,551 people have been declared Covid-19 positive with total fatalities reaching 800 people and 1,591 successful recoveries.
