Athletes Village Sees Declining Positive COVID-19 Patients Number

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Athletes Village Emergency COVID-19 Hospital is now treating as many as 394 positive COVID-19 patients, as of the latest data up to Tuesday, at 09:00 WIB (local time).

In a press release received today, April 14, the total number of patients in the Jakarta Athlete’s Village Emergency COVID-19 Hospital has reached 576 people. In addition to the 394 positive COVID-19 patients, 47 patients are being treated as People under Monitoring (ODP) and 135 other patients are being treated as Patients under Surveillance (PDP).

After an initial decrease of 27 patients, compared to the previous day, on Sunday, April 12, the number of COVID-19 positive patients undergoing treatment at the COVID-19 Emergency Hospital has now increased again compared to data on Sunday night, which was recorded at 342 patients.

Since beginning operating on March 23, the Jakarta Athletes Village Emergency COVID-19 Hospital in Kemayoran has treated a total of 989 patients.

Government spokesperson for the COVID-19 Task Force, Achmad Yurianto, stated that the number of COVID-19 positive patients in Indonesia as of Monday, April 13, has reached 4,557 cases, with 380 people recovered and 399 deceased.
