Jakarta Records 1,395 COVID-19 Cases, 69 Recoveries, 133 Deaths

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - As of Tuesday morning, April 7, 2020, Jakarta records a total of 1,395 COVID-19 cases, according to its official website for the coronavirus outbreak response and information, corona.jakarta.go.id.

Out of the figure, 867 patients are still being treated in hospitals, 69 patients have recovered, and 133 patients have succumbed to the disease. The other 326 patients are practicing self-isolation.

The site also updates the number of people who are under monitoring (ODP) at 2,569. As many as 527 are still being monitored, while the rest 2,042 people have passed the monitoring.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Health Agency also notes 2,224 patients are under monitoring, 1,020 of them are still being treated, while other 1,204 patients have been allowed to return home and declared healthy.

Based on the accumulation of the total number of ODP and PDP, South Jakarta records the highest number at 639, followed by East Jakarta (531), North Jakarta (471), West Jakarta (406), and Central Jakarta (328). The other 529 people hailed from outside the city, while 1,889 others are not identified.
