TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Mahfud MD plans to summon State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Minister Erick Thohir and Finance Minister Sri Mulyani this week.

The summon is intended to demand for clarifications in light of alleged corruption case in the state-owned enterprises PT Asuransi Sosial Angkatan Bersenjata Republik Indonesia or Asabri.

"[They] will be summoned this week because they are still in overseas. Then, we will start the discussion," said Mahfud at his office in Jakarta on Monday, January 13, 2020.

Mahfud asserted that he will not tolerate any kind of corruption acts as mandated by President Jokowi that all graft cases must be exposed. "And that must also be taken to the court," the former justice of the Constitution Court remarked.

Meanwhile, Minister Sri refused to provide any comment on the alleged graft issue in the insurance company that handles the pension funds of Military personnel, Police officers, and employees of Defense Ministry and Police.

The suspected corruption was reportedly caused state losses of up to Rp10 trillion.

"[I'll talk about it] later," said Sri shortly at Supreme Court building, Jakarta, January 13.

Sri Mulyani added that she will later provide statements about Asabri issue together with SOE Minister Erick Thohir.
