TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Bekasi Metro Police have uncovered a drug trafficking scheme controlled by a convict at the Gunung Sindur penitentiary in Bogor. They managed to confiscate a whopping 200 kilograms of marijuana from the captured drug dealer, Audino Raharjo or Odi.

Bekasi Metro Police Chief Sr. Comr. Candra Sukma Kumara said the case was uncovered following a tip-off from locals of alleged drug trafficking activities in the Grand Residence Setu Housing.

“We identified the suspect after conducting an investigation,” said the police chief on Friday, December 27.

The suspect was arrested at a separate location in Depok and investigations unraveled that he stored marijuana up to 200 kilograms at his rented house in the area of Pancoran Mas, Depok.

“We found 200 kilograms of ganja at his rented house,” said Candra.

Candra revealed that the drug dealer got his supplies from a convict identified as Ade (TJ), who is serving time at the Gunung Sindur penitentiary. The marijuana dealer now faces charges up to life imprisonment.
