TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo is scheduled to attend several meetings during his visit to South Korea. Jokowi is there to attend the ASEAN-Republic of Korea (RoK) Summit.
This morning, November 26, Jokowi attended the 2019 ASEAN-RoK Commemorative Summit at BEXCO. In the afternoon, Jokowi is scheduled to visit the Hyundai Motor Company factory in Ulsan before heading to Gimhae Air Force Base in Busan for his flight back to Indonesia.
Last night, the president and Lady Iriana attended a dinner with leaders of other ASEAN countries at the ASEAN-Republic of Korea Commemorative Summit Welcoming Dinner at the Hilton Hotel in Busan.
Foreign Affairs Minister Retno Marsudi said the summit is the 30th anniversary of ASEAN's relations with RoK.
"There, leaders will discuss the 30-year evaluation of past cooperation and what the plans and hopes are for the next 30 years of cooperation," Retno said in a press release, Tuesday.
