TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Online Shopping Day dubbed Harbolnas 12.12 is set to be held again on December 11-12, 2019. In its ninth year, sectors of digital trade would be expanded.

“Not only lifedata-style or electronic products, but we also want to promote all kinds of products widely and easily through digital platforms,” said the head of the Indonesia E-Commerce Association (IdEA) Ignatius Untung as the festival organizer during a press conference in Jakarta, Thursday, November 7.

Untung hoped the expansion would reach various sectors, including natural products. “We hope platforms promoting natural products can join this year’s Harbolnas,” he said.

The association, he added, put a high concern to develop the market reach of natural products. “The most effective and efficient marketing strategy is obviously through the digital market,” Untung remarked.

As many as 170 e-commerce had been registered to join Harbolnas 12.12. Like in last year’s, the two-days shopping festival had a special day for local products on December 11.
