13 Fire Trucks Deployed to Put Out Fire in Residential Area

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A fire burned a residential area in Cakung, East Jakarta on Thursday, August 15. As many as 13 fire engines were deployed to extinguish the fire.
Jakarta disaster mitigation agency (BPBD Jakarta) said that currently, it is in the cooling down process. According to BPBD Jakarta, the fire blazed the residential area in Penggilingan, Cakung.
In extinguishing the flame, the Fire Department received help from the state power company (PLN), Indonesian red cross (PMI), emergency ambulance (AGD), transportation department, public order enforcer (Satpol PP), disaster preparedness officer (PSKB) and disaster preparedness volunteer (Tagana), the police and TNI's Koramil.
Earlier this morning, fire also engulfed an automobile repair shop in Daan Mogot area, Kalideres, West Jakarta. As many as 17 fire trucks were deployed to put out the fire. The flame was then extinguished at 08:54.
As of press time, there is no report on victims or damages caused by the incident.
