TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has issued a tsunami early warning after a 7.4-magnitude earthquake hit Banten, Friday evening, August 2, at 19:03 WIB (Western Indonesian Time).

The earthquake is located at the sea, 147 kilometers southwest Sumur, Banten, or precisely 7.54 degrees south latitude and 104.58 degrees east longitude, at a depth of 10 kilometers.
