TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The finance director of state-owned airport operator Angkasa Pura II Andra Y. Agussalam was tight-lipped as he exited the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) headquarters on August 2, following his suspect naming.

As he was escorted to KPK’s prisoner vehicle, Andra wore the renowned orange vest (used when one's named a suspect) and rushed to the vehicle passing dozens of journalists waiting for him without saying a single word.

He then drooped as he entered the back seat of the vehicle before leaving the KPK HQ to undergo detention.

KPK had named Andra as a graft suspect in the Baggage Handling System project between PT Angkasa Pura Propertindo and PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia.

He allegedly accepted bribe up to S$96,700 from an employee of PT INTI, Taswin Nur, who eyed for his company to handle the project.

“The bribe between to employees of state-owned companies is really disconcerting,” said KPK Deputy Chairman Basaria Panjaitan at his office on Thursday, August 1.
