TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Kivlan Zen’s lawyer Muhammad Yuntri said that Kivlan is set to be confronted with other suspects also incriminated in the case involving illegal firearm ownership such as Habil Marati, Iwan Kurniawan, Adnil, and Tajudin

This is scheduled to take place at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters today on Tuesday, June 18. Kivlan Zen is currently accused of being involved in financing and ownership of a firearm.

“The confrontation is set to be held today at 17:00,” said Yuntri in a text message to Tempo.

Habil Marati, a politician from the United Development Party (PPP), was charged for allegedly being involved in an attempt to conduct treason. Habil is also charged for planning multiple assassinations against four national figures.

Habil Marati reportedly accepted money from ex-soldier Iwan Kurniawan – a former employee of Kivlan – which is said to be linked with the order to execute the national figures.

According to Yuntri, Kivlan Zen has denied each and every allegation charged against him. “It will go down to the confrontation. If Iwan is lying, then Pak Kivlan Zen must be released.”
