1. Kalijodo Park

Formerly a prostitution place, Kalijodo is transformed into an integrated child-friendly public space (RPTRA). The 1.4-hectare park located in Tambora, West Jakarta has the arena of the skateboard, BMX, and roller skates.

Small lanes around the park are also set as motor trails, electric scooter, and small becak (three-wheeled pedicabs) for children. In addition, there are the Ferris wheel and flying fox arena. Kalijodo park also has a culinary center adjacent to the children park.

2. Macan Museum

Despite its name Macan that means tiger, the museum has no relation with the animal. Macan is an abbreviation of Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Nusantara. Located in Wisma Akr, Kebon Jeruk, the museum is a hits place on social media as the country’s first museum displays collections of modern and contemporary arts.

A total of 90 modern works of Indonesian and global art, part of 800 art collection of Macan’s initiator, is exhibited in the museum. Other than paintings, modern works of art are displayed in a contemporary data-style in various medium, technics, and installation art.

3. Ciputra Artpreneur

Ciputra Artpreneur is the only center of art in Indonesia. International theater, multi-function hall with a capacity of 2000 people, and a museum displaying Hendra Gunawan’s works are provided in the site locating in the top floor of Ciputra World 1.

The place is commonly used for many events, such as a conference, concert, exhibition, fashion show, dance and theater, and wedding party among others. Ciputra Artpreneur is a pioneer that establishing a Broadway musical show. Visitors can also enjoy various local and international art events in this millennial tourism site.
