TEMPO.CO, Pekalongan - Presidential and vice presidential hopeful Prabowo Subianto - Sandiaga Uno vowed to focus on the development of people’s economy, particularly in the sector of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) should both win the 2019 election.

“Prabowo - Sandiaga will focus on boosting the people’s economy, especially MSME entrepreneurs, industry, and will open employment opportunities as broad as possible,” said Sandiaga Uno after an event in Pekalongan City, Central Java, Tuesday, February 12.

Sandiaga mentioned that he has already had a number of flagship programs for Pekalongan city, such as OK OCE because the city has the potential to become a locomotive in Central Java and even Indonesia.

Pekalongan, renowned as Batik City, Sandiaga added, has much superiority that can be jacked up to go advance. Besides, it is supported by the high enthusiasm of locals.

“At present, they have not obtained prosperity from policies issued by the current government. God willing, under the administration of Prabowo - Sandiaga, we will center the economy that takes side the people,” Sandiaga underlined.

During his campaign tour, Sandiaga Uno warmly greeted the public along with his supporters, delivering suggestions for mothers and millennial generation in the town square of Pekalongan city.
