TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Yogyakarta provincial association demanded a complete organizational restructure following the resignation of its former chairman Edy Rahmayadi on Sunday.
The empty seat is held by deputy chairman Jokow Driyono who is holding the position as PSSI acting chairman (Plt) and pedestal for the organization’s complete change.
“Pak Joko Driyono has long been at the organization’s deputy seat, he surely is well-informed of the issues shrouding the PSSI,” said Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Yogyakarta provincial association chairman Bambang Giri Dwi Kuncoro on Monday.
He argues that Joko’s first task should start by exposing any negative behavior that has happened throughout the life of the organization. Bambang refuses to go into detail upon the claimed ‘bad behaviors’ but acknowledges that one of the dominant actors was arrested by the anti-mafia task force a while ago.
