Renault, Maxindo to Develop Business in Indonesia

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Renault Asia Pacific has formed ties with Nusantara Maxindo Group as its new partner on Monday, January 21, to market and develop its business in Indonesia starting February 24.

Renault Asia Pacific, through its subsidiary PT Maxindo Renault Indonesia, will assume the rights to import, market, distribute, and manage products and provide after-sales services of the brand in the country.

The CEO of PT Maxindo Renault Indonesia, Andrew Limbert, expressed his gratitude to Renault Asia Pacific for trusting them as a new partner in the business. As a European brand with 120 years' experience, Andrew believed the public would show positive responses.

In the near future, Maxindo Renault Indonesia will inaugurate its exclusive dealer in Jakarta and Tangerang to provide sales and after-sales services to customers. Renault Duster, Koleos, Kwid, and Megane are among Renault cars presently sold in Indonesia.

“The key to Renault's success in Indonesia is 'Aggressive Mindset' by benefitting the present, dynamic automotive market and helping them develop new brands,” said the COO of Maxindo Renault Indonesia, Davy J. Tulian, during the launch event in Jakarta, Monday.

Renault is one of the world’s largest automotive alliances that has been actively involved in the F1 motorsport since 1977, both as a participant aand supplier of F1 car engines.
