TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto during his national speech talked about a reorientation concept of development and management of the Republic of Indonesia in a bid to build a powerful country.

“What we have to do is to conduct a reorientation of development and management of the Republic of Indonesia,” said Prabowo in JCC, Central Jakarta, Monday, January 14.

Prabowo said the reorientation is a concept to reform Indonesia from a wrong direction into a better and clear way, while the country management aims at generating a strong nation.

The chairman of the Gerindra Party then mentioned his strategies. First, through the food self-sufficiency so that Indonesian can enjoy their country's own food production. “No one is hungry in our beloved country.”

The second, he continued, is self-sufficiency on energy and fuel, by producing a variety of energy materials from the country’s energy sources. Prabowo predicted that Indonesia in the near future would import energy and fuel.

The third way to actualize the country reorientation is through water self-sufficiency. This issue was based on the United Nations’ data that the earth would suffer water crisis in 2025. Prabowo mentioned drought already occurred in Sragen, Central Java.

Prabowo further noted the fourth way that Indonesia should develop strong law enforcement institutions with its members clean and have integrity, such as the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), National Police, prosecutor's office, judiciary. Meanwhile, the last strategy to build a powerful Indonesia is that the country must have a leading and loyal army.

Prabowo Subianto then pledged that along with his coalition he would and work hard to achieve Indonesia Menang or Indonesia Wins. “To accomplish all of those, we have drafted big strategies, we will totally work hard, to realize the fair, prosperous Indonesia,” he concluded.
