TEMPO.CO, Surabaya - East Java Police Chief Insp. Gen. Luki Hermawan said that investigators of Sub-Directorate 5 Cyberteam are still conducting an investigation on 45 celebrities allegedly involved in online prostitution. Five of the artists were proved to be related to agents identified as Tentri and Endang (also known as Siska) who were arrested earlier.

"The initials of the five artists are AC, TP, and GS through Tentri, and MC and RF through Siska. We have evidence," said Luki in his office on Thursday, January 10, 2019.

According to Luki, the investigator had examined one bank account that uncovered the transactions between users, celebrities, and agents. "The total figure is IDR 2.8 billion. It's only from one account. The number is quite huge," Luki added.

East Java Police's Criminal Investigation Unit chief Sr. Comr. Akhmad Yusep Gunawan explained that the five celebrities were soap opera players and models who would be summoned to confirm the role of Tentri and Endang (a.k.a Siska) as the agent in the near future.

A network of online prostitution was revealed after the police arrested artist Vanessa Angel and Avreillia Shaqqila in Surabaya last week.

Luki Hermawan previously said that a total of 45 celebrities and 100 models involved in online prostitution. Their tariffs varied from IDR 25 million to IDR 100 million. The list of their names was obtained following the investigation into the pimps.
