Super Junior`s Siwon Thanked President Jokowi on Instagram

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Super Junior fans in Indonesia were made ecstatic after the group`s member Siwon Choi posted a photo of the K-pop band posing with President Joko `Jokowi` Widodo and First Lady Iriana Jokowi on his Instagram page Monday, September 11. 

Siwon`s post read: “Mr. President, It was a great honor to meet you. I was deeply inspired. Looking forward to strengthening cultural exchange with Indonesia in the future. Terima Kasih! @jokowi #energyofasia.”  

His post was then replied by President Jokowi’s official Instagram account, which thanked both the warm welcome the president received during his visit to Seoul and for the group’s visit to Jakarta last week. 

"Thank you for your warm welcome @Siwonchoi and also for your visit to Jakarta to meet ELFs last week. So happy to see you all!” the president commented.  

As of press time, the photo of Super Junior personnel together with President Jokowi garnered up to 658,880 likes.
