TEMPO.CO, Bogor - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi leads a meeting to discuss the preparation of a state visit to South Korea on September 10-11. This will be a return visit for President Moon Jae-In’s visit to Indonesia last year.
President Jokowi is scheduled to attend several discussions on increasing cooperation between the two countries. He also hopes that it will achieve concrete results.

The president said Indonesia will strengthen cooperation in the economic sector. “Especially the investment in industry, because I think that is the power owned by South Korea,” he said when opening the meeting at the Bogor Palace, Friday, September 7.
Jokowi also wants a cooperation that involves human resources and to strengthens relations between young people in Indonesia and South Korea.
South Korean President Moon Jae-in visited Indonesia on November 9, 2017. He was welcomed at the Bogor Palace. Jokowi took Moon Jae-In to Bogor Trade Mall and both tried batik clothes.
