Asian Games: NationalTeam U23 Supporters Flock to Patriot Stadium

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Today, Sunday 12 August, the Indonesian U-23 national team will compete against Taiwan in the men’s football at the 2018 Asian Games.
Thousands of supporters have crowded the Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium in Bekasi City, West Java to hunt for tickets sold on the spot at the stadium.
“The online ticket has sold out,” said a supporter from Karawang, Andika, Sunday, August 12.
Another supporter, Diki, has queued for more than three hours to purchase the C-category ticket priced Rp75,000. “The ticket box opened at 10 am, at 7 am the queue was already long,” he said.
Andi, another supporter, came to the stadium at 7 am to exchange the ticket he purchased online. Apparently, the ticket box opened at 12 pm. “As soon as the queue was long, it was opened,” he said.
Based on Tempo’s observation, at 11 am, the queue at the exchange-online and the offline ticket box were quite long. Police officers have guarded so there will be no chaos because the supporters queuing up are to thousands.
