TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jorge Lorenzo managed to come out on top in the MotoGP Catalonia series in Barcelona on Sunday, June 17, 2018.

Starting from pole position, the Spaniard met fierce challenge from Marc Marquez who took the lead right from the start. However, Marquez domination had only lasted for two laps as Lorenzo immediately regain his position as the leader of the race on lap two.

Lorenzo's victory helped Ducati to earn its second consecutive victory after winning the MotoGP Italy in Mugello on June 3, 2018.

On second place of the race was Marc Marquez, followed by Valentino Rossi who finished in third position.

The next MotoGP race will be held in the Assen Circuit, Netherlands, on July 1, 2018, a circuit highly associated with Valentino Rossi.
