TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Presidential Decree (Keppres) on Collective Leave for Civil Servants (PNS) will be imposed after having signed by President Joko Widodo or Jokowi.

The provision of the national holiday and collective Leave in 2018 had been regulated in a joint decree (SKB) only affected to private employees, Indonesian Military (TNI), and Police.

As quoted from the website of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucrat Reformation (PANRB) Ministry, the joint decree was formed by three ministers namely PANRB Minister, Religious Affairs Minister, and Labor Minister under No. 707/2017, No. 256/2017, and No. 01/SKB/MENPAN-RB/09/2017 on National Holidays and Collective Leave 2018.

Thus far, the regulation was also applied to civil servants. However, referring to Government Regulation (PP) No. 11/2017 on civil servant management, the collective leave was initially stipulated by Presidential Decree.

"The draft has been submitted to the President," said PANRB Ministry official Rini Widyantini.

Rini explained the Presidential Decree to be signed by President Jokowi did not revoke the SKB as it meant for civil servants only. In the SKB, the duration of Holiday and Collective Leave 2018 for private employees, TNI, and Police was 21 days, consisting of 16 national holidays and 5 days of collective leave.
