TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled to question Irvanto Hendra Pambudi Cahyo, the nephew of House of Representatives Speaker Setya Novanto, in relation to a graft case surrounding the electronic identity card (e-KTP) procurement project. Irvanto previously served as director of PT Murakabi Sejahtera.

KPK spokesperson Febri Diansyah revealed Irvanto is allegedly linked to Setya Novanto in the e-KTP procurement project. “The concerned person will be questioned as a witnessed for suspect Setya Novanto," Febri said in Jakarta today, Sept. 28.

To this date, the KPK has named six suspects in the case, namely Home Affairs Ministry officials Irmanto and Sugiharto, business owner Andi Narogong, Setya Novanto, lawmaker Markus Nari, and PT Quadra Solution president director Anang Sugiana Suhardjo. Anang was allegedly involved in the graft case that caused at least Rp2.3 trillion in state loss.

PT Quadra Solution is one of the companies operating under the State Printing Company (PNRI) consortium. Other members of the consortium were Perum PNRI, PT LEN Industri, PT Sucofindo, and PT Sandipala Artha Putra.

Anang allegedly gave money to Setya Novanto and a number of lawmakers via Andi Narogong. Meanwhile, Setya has filed a pretrial petition with the South Jakarta District Court.
