99 Children Victimized by Gay Prostitution Ring: Police

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Economic and Special Crime Director at the Police Detectives Unit, Brig. Gen. Agung Setya has said that at least 99 children have been victimized by gay prostitution ring. "We have found a Facebook account that promotes underage kids for gay sex," said Agung.
Police have named one suspect, who was once sentenced for prostituting women. "He now offers boys," said Agung.
The suspect was arrested in a hotel in Cipayung Datar Village, Bogor. The suspect was with six underage boys and one 18-year-old boy.
Police said that the 99 victims are from different regions in West Java. They are, in average, 13 to 15 years old.
The kid will be contacted by the suspect, if a client calls and ask for him.
Social Minister, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, has held a closed meeting with the Detectives Unit to address the gay prostitution ring. "We need to stop it," said Khofifah.
