BNN to Receive Video Footage of Freddy Budiman`s Testimony

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) chief Com. Gen. Budi “Buwas” Waseso said Kontras coordinator Haris Azhar will hand over a video footage of Freddy Budiman’s testimony to him.

“The video footage will be handed over to me soon. And Haris has told me about the content,” Buwas said Wednesday in Jakarta, as quoted by Antara news agency.

According to Buwas, the BNN will make a statement about the issue. However, the BNN must first find other relevant facts.

“If we are accused of any wrongdoing, it would be normal for us to defend ourselves, wouldn’t it? And he [Haris] has asked for assurance that I will take further actions,” Buwas added.

Buwas expressed that the BNN shares the same commitment with Haris to clearing up the issue.
