TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Provincial Government ensures the construction of Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) depot will not be disturbed by land buying process. The budget will be proposed again in budget amendment this year.
Jakarta Head Dept. of Transportation, Andri Yansyah, said that the fund was proposed in 2016 budget. Because of technical factor, the budget was also removed. Now his side will propose it again in budget amendment.
“We try to speed the budget disbursement by this year,” he said, Friday (7/22).
He is optimistic that the land to be used as MRT depot can be bought fully this year. At this moment, total land for this project is 105 hectare, and already bought by 92 percent.
“It remains 25 lots, or two percent put of total land we need,” he added.
