TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian government has condemned the bomb attack at Ataturk international airport, Istanbul, Turki, Tuesday, June 28, 2016.

“Indonesia condemns the terror attack and we would like to express our sympathies and deep condolences to the victims and their families, Turkish government and the Turkish people over the incident,” said the Foreign Affairs Ministry of the Republic of Indonesia in a press release Wednesday.

Two blasts took place in two separate locations in the Ataturk International Airport on June 28, 2016.

Turkish government said at least 36 killed and 147 wounded in the attack.

The Consulate General of Indonesia in Istanbul said that it has yet to receive any information on Indonesian victims in the bombings.

Some 728 Indonesians are currently in Turkey, 310 of whom are students while the rest are workers.
