Startuppedia ASEAN Challenge Promises Rp674 Million Worth Prize

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A venture capital firm from the Silicon Valley, Fenox Venture Capital announces their first startup competition Startuppedia ASEAN Challenge 2016. The firm promises US$50,000 (Rp674 million) equity plus an opportunity to participate in a mentoring program for winning team.
The competition is open for university students from any majors and any university in ASEAN and for those who have graduated not more than two years. ASEAN people who is studying overseas are also eligible to participate in the competition.
“South East Asia has become one of the best place to develop startup based on today’s ecosystem. Some analysts predict that the next generation of Google and Facebook will be born from this area,” Vivek Ladyasari, the Head of Investment of Fenox VC said on Friday, February 12.
