TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Stock price index (JCI) rose 26.66 points or 0.61% to 4427.95 at the opening of trading Thursday, September 3.
Sucorinvest predicted the stock price index (JCI) in trading Thursday to move in the range between 4,320 and 4,430.
Sucorinvest Equity Analyst Achmad Yaki Yamani in his research expects JCI to move mixed and weakening.
He said the sentiments that affects the index motion is weak rupiah exchange rate that is touching the level of Rp14.150/USD, accompanied by weakening commodity prices.
Besides the disappointing Chinese manufacturing data causing investor concerns, global economic slowdown will be a suppressor of JCI.
"Stocks to be considered for trading today are ASII, PGAS, SRIL and WSKT," said Yaki.
