TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Populi Center’s national survey revealed that the majority of people gave a score of 7 for President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and Vice President Jusuf “JK” Kalla in their first 100 days at the office.
“About 27 percent of the people gave a score of 7 for their [Jokowi and JK] performance,” political analyst at Populy Center Nico Harjanto told Tempo on Saturday, January 31, 2015.
Based on the data, a total of 17.1 percent of the respondents gave a score of 8 for their satisfaction with the government, and 16.2 percent of the respondents gave 6.
Only 4.8 percent of the respondents gave a perfect score for Jokowi’s leadership, while 1.8 percent of the respondents gave 1 for the Jokowi’s performance.
The survey also revealed that 65 percent of the people still believe in Jokowi-JK administration, while 20 percent of them are unsure that the current government would bring a change to the country.
Based on the data, Nico viewed that the people still appreciate Jokowi’s performance.
“The people are still having expectations from and supporting Jokowi-JK,” Nico said.
The survey was conducted in 34 provinces, involving a total of 1,200 respondents.
