TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Real Madrid crushed Levante 5-0 when playing away at Estadio Ciudad de Valencia last night. Christiano Ronaldo contributed two goals in the winning including one penalty shot.
Real Madrid missed Gareth Bale last night, while Ronaldo was assigned to the front post alongside Javier Hernandez and Isco. Ronaldo gave Los Blancos the upper hand soon as 13 minutes through a penalty shot. Hernadez doubled the score to 2-0 at the 38th.
Despite their leading, Madrid pushed even more during the second half. Ronaldo scored his second at the 61th minute. New comer James Rodriguez grab his chance to shine by contributing one goal at the 66th minute through a smooth collaboration with Toni Kroos.
Isco sunk the last ball for Madrid at 82 minute, ending the goal party for his squad.
Real Madrid advance to the second place with 18 points, only one point behind Barcelona at the top. Levante sits on the 18th place with five points collected in eight matches.
