TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) is proposing a three-month ban for Real Madrid Castilla coach Zinedine Zidane for not having the correct license to coach, Footbal Espana reported. Madrid have 10 days to reply to this proposal.
Zidane will continue until a judgment is rendered and, should the ban be enforced, could appeal, first to the RFEF’s Appeals Committee and then the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
There have been a number of complaints about Zidane holding the position despite lacking the required badges, with Rayo Vallecano Coach Paco Jemez a vocal critic.CZidane is on a French-run course to obtain the next coaching badge and was previously assistant to Carlo Ancelotti. His assistant Santiago Sanchez, has also been notified of a proposed suspension of the same length.
