TEMPO.CO, Incheon - Indonesia sits on the 10th place in the 2014 Asian Games as both weightlifter and wushu athletes have each contributed one silver medal.
Juwita Niza Wasni who competed in nanquan & nandao all round grabbed the bronze medal with 19.19 total score, only 0.04 point different from the score gained by the gold medalist Tai Cheau Xuen of Malaysia, with a total score of 19.23. The bronze medal for this category went to China’s Hong Wei with 19.15 total score.
Indonesian weightlifter Sri Wahyuni Agustiani who competed in the 48-kilogram class has recorded 180 kilograms total lifted weight. Margarita Yelisseyeva from Kazakhtan won the gold medal by lifting total of 194-kilogram weight.
Indonesia has sent 187 athletes for 23 sport branches to compete in 2014 Asian Games held in Incheon, South Korea. The target of nine gold medals and breaking into top ten were set for the athletes.
