TEMPO.CO, London - Arsenal continues to suffer as another one of its player was injured. French striker Olivier Giroud will have to stay off the pitch for three months due to ankle injury.
Giroud suffered the injury during a match against Everton last week. After undergoing medical examination, doctor said that Giroud's ankle was broken, and that it will take him at least three months to fully recover.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said that Giroud's injury will certainly affects the club's performance. Before Giroud suffers an injury, Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta had also suffered an ankle injury. In addition, Yaya Sanogo, Giroud's subtitute player, is still suffering from a hamstring injury. Other than the three players, Kieran Gibbs and Theo Walcott must also stay off the pitch due to injury.
