TEMPO.CO, Madrid - Real Madrid have announced Toni Kroos' signing from Bayern Muenchen. Madrid signed the German International for a six-year contract at Bernabeu.
Kroos had been an integral part in Muenchen until the era of Pep Guardiola. Unwanting to let the player go for free next year, Muenchen were determined to set the sale target over the midfielder. Rumor has it that Madrid had to bid Kroos over 24 million pounds and race against Premier League giant Manchester United.
Kroos himself is scheduled to take a medical test and have his introduction at Bernabeu. In Madrid, Kroos will be serving from the midfield area, supporting Madrid's tridente of Benzema, Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.
