TEMPO.CO, Teresopolis - Brazil's injured striker, Neymar, has surprised Brazil crowd by expressing support to his Argentina Barcelona teammate to win the 2014 World Cup final match between Argentine and Germany tomorrow (Sunday, Brazil local time).
"I always said I wanted Argentina to get to the final because Brazil would be there but it never worked out like that," Reuters reported Neymar as saying, Thursday.
"I still want them there because my two teammates are there, Messi and Mascherano, and I hope they win."
Brazil fans may not stand alongside the superstar this time because the neighbor country has been Selecao’s eternal footballing rival. Brazil had won five World Cup champion titles while Argentina are now within sight of winning their third World Cup title.
