TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Election Supervisory Committee (Bawaslu) member Nasrullah, said that the results of quick count released by a number of survey institutions are not final and binding, and cannot be used as a direct reference by the people of Indonesia.
"The only reference is of course the result of national recapitulation process [which will be released] on July 22,"said Nasrullah on Thursday, July 10, 2014.
The recapitulation process will be attended by election organizers and presidential candidates. "The recapitulation result is the one that is final and binding," he said.
Nasrullah also asked the media to reduce the number of reports on quick count results. "Just be patient. Don't keep broadcasting [quick count results]. God willing there will be a result on July 22," he said.
