XL Launches Multiple Promos to Welcome Ramadan

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Mobile network operator PT XL Axiata has launched six new promotions for its customers in welcoming the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. XL president director Hasnul Suhaimi said the Ramadan promos were dubbed “Berkah Ramadhan Sampai Puas”, literally translated as Ramadan Blessings for Satisfaction.

"We have launched a range of new promos that are different from those of other operators, and these promos are also different from our previous ones,” Hasnul said on the sidelines of the launch event for the Ramadan XL promotinal programs in Jakarta, June 26, 2014.

XL promotional programs this year include free distribution of Huawei smartphones to XL customers who make the longest calls during Ramadan, insurance during the Ramadan exodus, extra balance for purchases of XL initial cards, extra contents, and promotions from the cooperation between XL and beverage producer Suntory Garuda.

PT XL Axiata is at present the second largest cell-phone operator in the country. The company began operating commercially on October 8, 2014, and is currently running under Axiata Group Berhad.
