KPK Examines PT Bukit Jonggol Asri for Bribery Case in Bogor

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will examine five witnesses involving the suspicion of bribery recommendation exchange in the forest area of Bogor District today. Two of the five people are subordinates of PT Bukit Jonggol Asri, owned by Cahyadi Kumala.

"They will be examined as witnesses of YY (Franxiscus Xavier Yohan Yap)," said Head of Reporting Section and KPK Information, Priharsa Nugraha Nugraha, through a short message. They are Cahyadi’s secretary, Dian Purwheny, and Roselly Tjung. Also Motinggo Soputan, Ko Yohanes Heriko and Director of PT Briliant Perdana Sakti, Suwito.

Previously, the KPK has prevented Dian and Roselly to travel overseas. Cahyadi has also been declared barring status.

The KPK performed a hand catch operation towards Yohan Yap, Rahmat Yasin, and M.Zairin yesterday. Yohan is suspected to be an intermediate for the bribery of PT Bukit Jonggol Asri. During the operation, the KPK secured the money suspected to be a bribe for Rahmat worth Rp1.5 billion. Rahmat is even suspected to have received a previous bribe of Rp3 billion involving the same matter.
