TEMPO.CO, Lampung - The presidential candidate from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P), Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo, has promised to announce the name of his vice candidate within one or three days.
The Jakarta Governor said the candidacy decision is to be finalized by PDI-P chairwoman, Megawati Soekarnoputri, and himself. The decision would be based on the composition of coalition without negotiations of minister positions, Jokowi added.
He said to have received several proposals from other parties to build a coalition, but Jokowi rejected the proposals immediately since they were asking for ministerial positions. The governor insisted on not building a coalition unless other parties share similar principles to build Indonesia.
