TEMPO.CO, London - Premier League contender Chelsea have received tremendous pressure from their rivals as the 2014 season kicks off, resulting in a series of questionable performance. Chelsea's goalkeeper Petr Cech said that although Liverpool managed to sit on top of the standings, the club has to handle pressure given by the Blues and defending champion Manchester City.
Cech said that Liverpool could manage to secure the point in the last two weeks as the team consisted of young players such as Philippe Countiho, Raheem Sterling, and Jon Flanagan. "Sometimes when you have a young team they do not feel any pressure they just play," Cech said. "But let us see how they're going to cope when it comes to the last hurdle. They will have to jump through it."
Cech believed that the Blues, with its experienced players, can win the rest of the season, and possibly steal the throne from Liverpool. Chelsea currently sits on second position with 75 points out of 34 matches, just two points away from Liverpool.
