TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Adobe has launched an iPad version of Lightroom which can be directly used and upgraded through Lightroom 5.
Lightroom 5 can sync collections of photos back and forth, which enables Creative Cloud users to edit and have the latest version of their photos using the application.
"You'll be able to get a lot of editing done in Lightroom mobile," wrote the Verge on Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
Even though it is in mobile version, Lightroom still has main features from its desktop version such as basic, exposure, saturation and color temperature. However, advanced features such as tone curve is not available.
Users also do not have to worry when accessing menu without using a mouse. In order to use histogram, users only have to tap with two fingers, while to see the original version of their photos, users can tap three times.
For now, Lightroom is only available for iPad. Adobe has not confirmed whether Lightroom will be available for other platforms and said that it is still focusing on feature enhancement in Lightroom mobile.
Lightroom for Android will be available this year. Even though it is a free download, users have to register to Creative Cloud with monthly fee of US$9.99 or around Rp 112.000.
