TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Metro Jaya Police Spokesman Grand Commissioner Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono announced that police has requested the help of a psychologist to further study Ratna Sarumpaet’s mental health after she was named as a suspect of spreading public deception.
“[The team of psychologists were brought in] to check Ratna Sarumpaet’s psychiatric condition,” said Argo yesterday at the Metro Jaya headquarters in South Jakarta. Prior to this, police have also conducted a thorough check on Ratna’s physical condition with pending results.

According to Tempo’s observation, Ratna Sarumpaet arrived at the Metro Jaya Police’s health center at 14:00 Western Indonesia Time accompanied by several investigators and was checked for two hours.
Wearing a police suspect’s orange vest, Ratna only replied that she was “Healthy,” upon being asked by journalists of her current condition.
Ratna Sarumpaet’s lies peaked last week after a picture of her bruised face spread across social media, which was actually the result of a post-operation effect. Many public figures, mainly from the country’s opposition camp were duped by her lies, which include names such as Prabowo Subianto and Amien Rais.
