TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - West Java is one of the winning regions of the presidential candidate Prabowo - Sandiaga Uno as well as contributing the most number of volunteers.
The Chairman of the Directorate of National Winning Agency Volunteer Ferry Mursyidan Baldan said 30 percent of their volunteer came from West Java.
“Out of 560 volunteer groups, more than 150 teams are from West Java,” Ferry told Tempo on Wednesday, November 14. Ferry is optimistic that the number will continue to increase.
In the records of the Directorate of Volunteers, every day, at least one or two volunteer groups officially registered their teams by submitting a special form. These volunteers are registered through the volunteer networks in the region. Today in Bandung and West Java, the National Winning Agency team again won the support of volunteers who declared their posts and groups. The declaration will be attended directly by Sandiaga Uno.
Ferry acknowledged that volunteers were important as the driving wheel of victory for Prabowo - Sandiaga. The volunteers can penetrate to the lowest level of society to assist the campaign. “Volunteers are also a media campaign,” he said.
Prabowo - Sandiaga volunteers in West Java, said Ferry, consists of all elements. They continue to open opportunities for any volunteers who will join.
The Deputy Chairperson of the National Winning Agency Rachmawati Soekarnoputri said that volunteers were the most important part in the upcoming presidential election battle. Rachmawati likens the presidential election as a territorial war.
