Asian Games, Para Games Athletes to Receive Bonuses This Week

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Head of the Jakarta Youth and Sports Agency, Ratiyono, said the bonuses from the Jakarta administration for Asian Games and Asian Para Games athletes will be given this week.


“The budget is from the revised regional budget, the total bonuses reach Rp33 billion. We are scheduling the right time to give them,” said Ratiyono at the City Hall in Central Jakarta on Monday, October 22.

Ratiyono said that every non-medal athlete would get Rp10 million, while gold medalists, silver medalists and bronze medalists would receive Rp300 million, Rp150 million and Rp90 million, respectively.


In the Asian Para Games, there were five athletes who hailed from the capital. They won two silvers and 3 bronzes. In the Asian Games, athletes from Jakarta won 10 golds, 11 silvers, and 9 bronzes.
