Ratna Sarumpaet`s Lawyer Says Her Family to Visit Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Ratna Sarumpaet`s lawyer, Desmihardi, said that there would be a family member who would visit his client at Jakarta Police Detention Center, Monday, October 8.
“Today, maybe Fathom Saulina will come,” Desmihardi said via telephone.
Fathom Saulina is Ratna’s second daughter. She also accompanied her mother when she was taken to the Jakarta Police on 4 October. Ratna was arrested at Soekarno-Hatta Airport when she was about to depart to Chile.

Desmihardi did not know the exact hour of Fathom's arrival, Atiqah Hasiholan’s older sister. “Visiting to deliver food and medicine,” he said.
Ratna Sarumpaet was set as a suspect related to the spread of hoax about her assault.
The police charged Ratna Sarumpaet, the anti-government activist, with Article 14 and 15 of Law No. 1 of 1946 concerning Criminal Law Regulation and Article 28 juncto Article 45 of the Information and Electronic Transaction Law, with a maximum threat of 10 years imprisonment.
